Was bedeutet dir die olympische Silbermedaillie?

Ich habe hinterher versucht, diese Medaille zu analysieren. Wenn man sieht, wer im Biathlon hier bislang die Goldmedaillen gewonnen hat: Das ist der König des Biathlons, Ole Einar Björndalen, und dessen Nachfolger, Martin Fourcade. Da ist nichts dagegen gewachsen.

Du betreibst eine technisch anspruchsvolle Sportart. Wie wichtig ist das Material?​

Bei uns ist der Ski das Entscheidende. Ohne den Ski, den ich in Sotschi hatte, hätte ich absolut keine Medaille gemacht. So ein Glück muss man einfach haben.

Seit wann bist du Fan des Erzgebirge Aue?

Seit ungefähr 2007.
